Think it's a "striped ground squirrel" by name, though.

saw these traps at various locations.

A little lake or pond located between
Tapie and Found Lakes. Unnamed on current
U.S. Wilderness Maps but seems to be called
"Lost Lake" on Earthwalk Maps. Don't know.

The locals are friendly.

Took this early in the morning on a short
cross country from Foster Lake to Lion Lake.
